Welcome to the website for the Albemarle Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.  Founded in 1892, our chapter is named for Albemarle County, Virginia, formed in 1744 and named in honor of William Anne Keppel, second Earl of Albemarle and Governor of the Colony.  Charlottesville was created in 1762 and named after Queen Charlotte, wife of King George III.  Our motto is "God, Home, and Country."  Our objectives are: Historical, Educational, and Patriotic.
